A Date with Santillo 1970

In a hidden corner of Firenze, their lies an apartment housing one of the most interesting shirt makers we’ve come to know. Mind you, this isn’t the home of Sig. Santillo, more of a temporary day residence for the tailor. We paid a visit with Sarah Ann Murray of The Rake (and our good friends Karl Guerre, Filippo Matera and Gianni Fontana) where she was having something made. Yes, we were jealous, but so keen on observing a master at work. From the fabric swatches to the attention to detail with every measurement… this was the real deal. We’d implore you to take a look at the brand a bit more closely, we know we will be keeping a tab on them for a while to come.
