Hanger Project Shoe Shine Event, New York City

As New York Fashion Week came to a close and many prepared to embark overseas for the European shows, we took the opportunity to have an escape of our own: a gentleman’s evening canvassing style, shoe care, and cigars at the Wall Street Humidor, a premier cigar club and shop in New York’s TriBeCa neighborhood. Kirby Allison, founder of luxury accessories brand Hanger Project, hosted an exclusive gathering for customers and shoe enthusiasts to experience Saphir Shoe Polish and their collection of polishing tools, as well as to commemorate the redesign of their popular shoe shine guide.

With their own shoes in hand, over 25 attendees discovered proper shoe shine methods while using some of the finest products on the market. Given the warm reception, Allison intends to host similar events in across the country, bridging the gap between online retail and brick and mortar engagement. We’ll be looking forward to the next installment.
