Miller’s Oath, an all-American bespoke brand, is entering its fifth year with its first launch of ready-to-wear garments. Their S/S ’15 collection comes three seasons in the making, with countless tweaks to ensure their preferred silhouette and construction. There are no shortcuts to quality and they’ve developed, designed, and woven the selections in suiting and shirting. They’re grassroots at their core, an ode to their great grandfather, who co-owned a men’s shop in Groton, South Dakota in the early 1900’s. The haberdashery, ‘Miller Brothers Exclusive Men’s Clothiers’, was known for its attention to detail, level of service, and hand tailoring, becoming a staple in the Midwest. Now in Tribeca, they’ve drawn inspiration from the past establishment, infusing modern fits and styling into the traditional framework, with gentle nods to the original work ethic and vision. Retaining some military elements from the First World War era institution, they’ve evolved to include more color and print as showcased in this new line.
